The AEM Architect role is positioned within the Digital Experience Platforms domain and is responsible for leading project architecture, mentoring teams, and creating scalable and efficient solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The candidate will play a critical role in shaping technical direction, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring project success through timely execution and strategic leadership.

Information Security Responsibilities:

• Promote awareness of key information security practices including malware protection and password protocols
• Identify, assess, and report security risks related to confidentiality, integrity, and availability
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
• Integrate data protection measures throughout the information lifecycle

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discovery and team onboarding for new projects
• Guide project architects in backlog creation and prioritization
• Ensure timely execution of project milestones from both client and team perspectives
• Act as a subject matter expert during active projects
• Lead and contribute to strategic client meetings with professionalism
• Mentor architects and senior engineers, sharing technical expertise across teams
• Establish tools and best practices to grow the AEM competency
• Contribute to internal IP that provides a strategic advantage in the market

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/MS degree or equivalent education (bootcamp or self-education acceptable)
• 10+ years of hands-on AEM development experience
• 5+ years in AEM architecture and team leadership
• Experience launching platforms with AEM Cloud Service or AEM 6.5
• Proficiency integrating with systems like Salesforce, Mulesoft, or Commerce platforms
• Strong understanding of systems design, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, caching, CDN, and data persistence
• Proven experience in adding value to the practice outside of direct project work
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
